I work to produce
Arresting images
Icons to engage mind and emotion,
Images to resonate.

I seek to celebrate what some might filter out,
The unexpected, surreal,
Mysterious and awesome beauty
That surrounds us.

It’s there in nature’s untamed skies,
In places made and loved by man
In treasures and discarded rubbish,
In how we look and who we are.

For being human we project upon
The world we see our humanness,
Reading in everything we come across
An echo of ourselves.

Some say the icon points beyond
To some high mystic realm.
I see the image shows we find
Transcendence here.
